Get Involved

To be sure that an HIV vaccine will work for everyone who needs it, people of all backgrounds need to step up and get involved in the vaccine research effort. With your support and participation, we can end HIV.

    How you can help:

  • Learn the facts at www.hvtn.org. Educate yourself about HIV vaccine research and spread the word to your family and friends.

  • Consider joining an HIV vaccine trial. Studies include both men and women. One study is currently recruiting HIV-negative men who have sex with men. To find out more, visit www.hopetakesaction.org.

  • Distribute materials for the ”I AM THE END OF HIV“ campaign. Click here to download posters to print out or web banners to post to your website.

  • Join a local HIV vaccine community advisory board to give your input to the researchers.

  • Talk about safer sex and encourage your friends to know their HIV status by getting tested. Find out more at www.hivtest.org.

  • Support local HIV/AIDS organizations and the people who volunteer for them, including those who participate in vaccine trials.

  • Follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Blog, tweet and share your thoughts about vaccines.
